    Toronto Star tomorrow... —Calum Tsang
Hi folks, I am told (by the copy desk editor who just called me) that there'll be a big surprise in the Toronto Star's Sunday edition, tomorrow. I encourage all of our Ontario Lego friends to go out and pick up a copy of the Star tomorrow morning. (...) (22 years ago, 22-Dec-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.loc.ca) !

(...) I got my copy. The amazing thing is that from even a short distance, you wouldn't notice anything unusual about the logo. Very well done! (...) Nice fire station Dave. Have you posted pics of it online before? If so, I've missed it until now. (...) (22 years ago, 22-Dec-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.loc.ca)

(...) COOL! Anyone scan it, or is there an online edition of the Star that features it? I found their site www.thestar.com but it's on the 22nd already, and didn't (in 2 min of searching) find how to see yesterday. (22 years ago, 22-Dec-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.loc.ca)

(...) Actually, the article is in today's printed version of the Sunday Star (Dec 22). Here's the link to the online version: (URL) found it not on the front page, but rather under the GTA section. Also, here's a try at one of those referenced (...)      (...) me laugh out loud: "The global hub that connects enthusiasts together is Lugnet.com (Lego Users Group Network), a Web site with 2,000 paid members, including several women." Note that in this case, "several" probably means 200 or so* but will (...) (22 years ago, 25-Dec-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.loc.ca)

(...) That may not be particularily representative, though. For example, rtlToronto has 0 female members. That said, I don't think anyone honestly cares in our group-we are what we are, and the issue has never really come up.    (...) Thanks! (...) We were approached by the Star by Chris Sorensen to do an article with them. They interviewed Chris and me on the phone, then came out to the December dinner at the local Swiss Chalet. A week later, the request came from the Star (...)
