I agree that becoming a little more formal is not really us, but, I do think
that being fair is a more important part of what we do. We can post the
individual contests and to the extent possible re-schedule individual
contests to accommodate robots that are not quite ready. In the end though,
we should still ensure that each robot competes against all the others. If a
robot is not ready, the other robot could simple run solo within the time
limit and score the appropriate points.

We seem to be in agreement....I MUST BE WRONG!!

(...) i thought "we" agreed that the flag will be in a known position (dead center of the table) and that you are free to angle your robot as much as you want within the 18" starting square. (...) the reach across is a known (...) (22 years ago, 24-Jul-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
