Hey, Calum....
I like the "woodshed" approach myself....(without the back walls) for the
reason it was designed there by Lego...it allows for increased play and
easier access...
While I feel a little awkward now about playing with a town layout, looking
at it doesn't bring the full effect of emotions as "getting involved" with
the layout and imagining the real-life action going on.
I guess your approach works for you because it is your set-up...I am in
the army right at the moment, and a concept that is constantly being
drilled into my mind...dress-right-dress: everything has to be uniform.
I really don't want to apply this principle into my town, except with the
approach to the back-walls. (but that is entirely my opinion and my view!)
