....and me....I equally get upset at large-scale buyers who gouge the less
informed consumer...

Yep...I think there is....also upsetting is people who design a set / maybe
nice / maybe not (subject to interpretation) and then selling it for vast
amounts of profit....
sure it costs a bit to obtain the pieces, and it probably costs something
to put it together....
now if Lego would put more / accept more / designs from a decent designer...
like those on Lugnet, not necessarily from a upscale lego creation
organization, which I will not name over fears of violating copy rights....
If Lego puts out a design, then I have no qualms about collecting profits
from each item being sold....that is for the good of everyone. In
capitalistic society, sure the big bucks and those who are there first
usually get there....but there are more fairer systems than that, especially
with a
multi-billion dollar company (TLC) and a multi-billion dollar constructive
toy industry.....
bottom-line: there needn't be "exclusivity" as Lego has a vast assortment
of items that could be explored and a bunch of resources that could be
used better....
(heck, they could put E-bay out of the lego auction business, if they wanted
to by putting out decent system sets again (and a upgraded mindstorm
/ technic sets)...

Good Point,Calum. I highly doubt Bricks and Blocks is a close-associate with
The Lego Company. It is just a chain of licensed re-sellers. Sure it is
neat that we have lego only stores, but I think it would be even better if
Lego had a Canadian Shop @ Home outlet, in CANADIAN $$$, which would make it
much easier to buy it at home....***

*** - well not that it matters a whole lot to me, considering I buy a good
portion of it from lego shop @ home anyways....plus with a US post office,
my mom doesn't know that I've got some more pieces to my collection. :)
