Well, it might not be the best place, but it does anger me too. I suppose
part of my right wing capitalist leanings would say, "Hey, why not, a buck
is a buck". But there's a part of me which values Lego and sharing and it
cheeses me off just like Dave and Derek and you.
I suppose there are those who use the profit to help pay for their Lego
purchases. I suppose that is fair. And those who literally buy a LOT of
Lego, (some of those folks who build really large Town things for example,
or those who make custom sets) I suppose that is fair too. My only gripe is
with those who buy Lego with the sole intention of making money from it.
There are certainly better ways to make money out there.

I wish that could be done. I've seen anti-scalpers in the crowd outside
concerts who will sell tickets at face value but have you answer a question
about the band to make sure you're a fan. But the stores are businesses,
they're not out there to satisfy the Lego creative community, there out
there to sell.

I suspect some of the Lego outlet stores, at least here in Canada, aren't
really Lego company outlets, they're private stores. The American ones
sound like they are company run, but not the Canadian ones.

Yep...I think there is....also upsetting is people who design a set / maybe nice / maybe not (subject to interpretation) and then selling it (...)
