Consider it down, my friend...

I *own* LEGO bricks-- I don't care what form they come in...

I was thinking about doing the x axis of my 'bot on train rails. Maybe I'll
redesign my 'bot to do just that. Hmmm, interesting
challenge--incorporating a train engine into my x platform--the power coming
from the RCX... Hmmmm, I like it... sec--redesigning my 'bot now to make it
even better.

K, I do care about certain LEGO bricks--The only LEGO bricks I never keep
are the pink ones--Dave's LEGO don't do pink!

The IR port is my friend--but only useful when necessary. The more you
overthink the plumbing, the easier it is to stop up the drain. Some
brilliant engineer once mentioned that.

Bottom line--Show me one other person who has a *video* of his 'bot working
right now. I mean, i hear big talk from rtl, but thus far.... who? Yep,
only li'l ol' me.
Kick yer butts.
Dave
Pretend that I don't miss Lt. Commander Susan Ivanova on Babylon 5, or for
that matter B5 in general.

| (...) You already know this, of course, but for the benefit of those that don't... watch out for hysteresis... the train motor motion will need to be sensed independently. Still, what an interesting application if you do it! (23 years ago, 25-Jan-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
