Yeah, everywhere and in everything.
Were the initial conditions the same? The same light readings for optical
alignment stops? What if...all the tolerances and errors added up correctly
the first time you ran it, and the next day, everything was set up
differently? Does your software make assumptions? Have you tested every
and any possibility/condition/boundary state?
Perhaps that's why Train is more fun. There really isn't much testing for
train. Can a fully loaded Metroliner/Club Car consist pass by it with
enough clearance? Does it do it without motor stall? Yes? Okay, let's
load those modules in the van... :)

Ummm, Iain, this is what I have been saying all along!!!! why try to make it light, when you can just add more motors!!!! i use 4 motors just to move the main X axis. as long as the rcx powered I've had NO problems.
