  Lego Shop @ Home order

I ordered a sizeable order (no deluxe metroliner kit, this time, sorry) I ordered several bulk packs to finish up a small town church, to be unvieled at a future rtl dinner. I also ordered 2 club cars, a dragon rider, and another mcdonalds (...) (23 years ago, 24-Oct-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) I was just going to complain about that. I ordered a Metroliner Kit and a second Club Car plus a pack of windows. Do you know how much it was?!@!#(*&@#! $380 frickin Canadian dollars. I kid you not. Holy cripes. What do they think they're (...) (23 years ago, 24-Oct-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Lego Shop @ Home order

(...) I wonder how many dollars have been spent by Canadians through the American Shop at Home in the last year vs. what we would have spent through the old Canadian offices? I know for myself it's an easy figure to come up with. Zero. Nadda. (...) (23 years ago, 24-Oct-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

What's this about a free t-shirt? I just spent >$200, and _I_ didn't get a t-shirt :( Is this something that just started? (...) (23 years ago, 24-Oct-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Hi Calum, Hi Ben, This is Richard here… And Richard has a suggestion. (And its so important that I'm speakin’ in the third-person!) Do you remember that I just ordered from S@H. In the amount of $300.00 Therefore, I propose that we seriously order (...) (23 years ago, 24-Oct-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Lego Shop @ Home order

Yes, I sympathies completely. Wayyyyyyyy back in 1997 when Lego Shop @ Home was just off of the 404, (24.56 min from my house) prices were competitive, shipping was free and the delivery was fast. But as of late, I really have no choice, I need the (...) (23 years ago, 24-Oct-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Lego Shop @ Home order

(...) I can put it this way: A lot less for me. I used to order all sorts of things from Canadian S@H, 2148's, track, a 4552, 4555 etc. This year I've ordered...only the Metroliner thing and I think I asked Jeff Elliott to buy a package or two of (...)   Re: Lego Shop @ Home order

(...) While I appreciate your offer-I'd hate to put you on the hook for any large sum of money-I just don't like owing people money. I've in general tended to buy a part pack here and there (I think total about two or three times in the last two or (...) (23 years ago, 24-Oct-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Lego Shop @ Home order

(...) Yeah, there's apparently a free t-shirt for customers of Shop@Home. I completely forgot about it until the lady mentioned they'd be throwing one in. You might want to call back and ask why you didn't get one, I'm sure they'll send it along. As (...) (23 years ago, 24-Oct-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Lego Shop @ Home order

(...) I know what you mean, having a Canadian Shop @ Home would be SOOOO nice for us lego enthusiasts/fans. By pulling out of Canada, Lego no longer has to deal with currency fluctuations (at least where Canadian currency is concerned). I guess with (...)
