Hey guys,
Thanks for all of your suggestions--the event organizer is handling the gluing
of the trophies now, so all I had to do was build them. He had been using Crazy
Glue as one person had suggested, but it was pretty expensive. I had a can of
Oatey's cement from a failed rtl event I had tried to get people interested in
(yeah, neither Chris nor I always get events we want-ref PipeRacers) as Larry
had suggested and gave it to him to try. We'll see what he chooses in the end.
If anyone cares to see the trophies, I can post pictures of them up. I ended up
building nine trophies, seven yellow small ones about 7" tall and two larger
ones as grand prizes. I hope some kids get a kick out of them when they win
them at the FLL Toronto Qualifying tomorrow.

You can get pint cans of it at various hardware stores, I'm pretty sure HD/Lowe's would have it in the paint dept. If not, try (...) (19 years ago, 16-Nov-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
