I think it is a rare sort of glue where I say that crazy glue is LESS nasty, but
it is... Oateys IS nasty stuff, so in my view that's a reason to use CA/ACC.
That said, and while I know Ondrew has done some great work (and others have
too) with CA/ACC (Crazy Glue is technically just a brand name I think), I think
Oateys works a lot better on ABS. CA/ACC has bond strength mostly in tension. It
does not take shear well at all and thus if the trophies are dropped, and you
get unlucky as to how they land, they can still break.
Oateys, like MEK, actually melts the plastic together and thus has good bond
strength, but it's somewhat easier to get and somewhat safer than MEK.
