MEK is about all that will work well.  The parks use a combo of MEK and
liquid ABS resin, but MEK will work well enough.  You can get pint cans
of it at various hardware stores, I'm pretty sure HD/Lowe's would have
it in the paint dept.  If not, try mom&pop hardware stores.

Be careful using it, as I believe it will damage the normal finish of
the bricks (I think that is what the liquid ABS is for - increased
adhesion, and giving a glossy surface).  Try to only put it on the
internals of the bricks before pressing them on the sculpture, and go
light on it.

Use it outdoors, it's nasty stuff.

Hey guys,

Thanks for all of your suggestions--the event organizer is handling the gluing
of the trophies now, so all I had to do was build them.  He had been using Crazy
Glue as one person had suggested, but it was pretty expensive.  I had a can of
Oatey's cement from a failed rtl event I had tried to get people interested in
(yeah, neither Chris nor I always get events we want-ref PipeRacers) as Larry
had suggested and gave it to him to try.  We'll see what he chooses in the end.

I think it is a rare sort of glue where I say that crazy glue is LESS nasty, but
it is... Oateys IS nasty stuff, so in my view that's a reason to use CA/ACC.
That said, and while I know Ondrew has done some great work (and others have
too) with CA/ACC (Crazy Glue is technically just a brand name I think), I think
Oateys works a lot better on ABS. CA/ACC has bond strength mostly in tension. It
does not take shear well at all and thus if the trophies are dropped, and you
get unlucky as to how they land, they can still break.

Oateys, like MEK, actually melts the plastic together and thus has good bond
strength, but it's somewhat easier to get and somewhat safer than MEK.
