Calum,
I'm ashamed of you. Did you learn NOTHING from that night of plumbing
and water pipe drilling experience? (BTW I can't find that blog link
with the cool illustration of how it all went down)
Think for just a second.
Lego is made of ABS. Plumbing Pipe, is made of ABS. You can buy ABS
GLUE at Home Despot, OR Canadian Tire.
CHEAP. like maybe a small jar for $3, that would be enough to glue
THOUSANDS of your ersatz FLL trophies.
Apply it was a disposable fine tip paint brush, or heck, a toothpick.
You dont need a lot. GREAT stuff; and permanent.
Sure, SOME people will start to name off exotic Cyanoacrylates, or refer
you to gluing web pages:
http://www.thistothat.com/
But when it comes right down to it, the Lego itself provides great
sticking power, any glue you choose just needs to add that little
something extra. If once you see the appearance of the yellow ABS
plumbing glue, and think that it will look hideous, I can best advise
you to only apply the glue to the inside studs where you lessen the
chance of seepage out the cracks. You cant wipe this stuff off ABS.
Good luck.
Chris

Personally I wouldn't even glue them. That's so not the point of (...) (19 years ago, 15-Nov-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
