Re: rtl 19 'Sumo on a stick' pictures —Chris Magno
(...) ya know.... a SIZE limit would have stopped the 5' tower bots. ~BUT~ it was MR. NO SHOW Iain, who asked for this. For what its worth.... all the types of robots were valid entries under the current rules. that means.. the GRAVITY bots, the (...) (19 years ago, 11-Sep-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) Sure, I agree that everything there was a valid entry (maybe not a valid "robot" by my definition of "robot," but we can argue that endlessly), but are the competitions about building an interesting and clever robot, or scanning the rules for (...) I think that went really well and Chris kept the parts to the BoP balance. If we are aiming for a "tougher" (eg, PX, (...) (19 years ago, 12-Sep-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: rtl 19 'Sumo on a stick' pictures —Greg Hyland
(...) Oog! I'm not saying that we should do a tougher competition, either (I thought we had some good ideas at dinner that night), but rather maybe competitions with a few more rules or requirements. Although I didn't enter (so who am I to (...) (19 years ago, 12-Sep-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
