  Show and tell Friday

Hi everyone, Thanks for the people who liked my steering. That really was the only good part about my robot. I thought the rest was hopeless... I will bring it (just the steering mechanism!) to the dinner on Friday. I can also bring the window (...) (23 years ago, 11-Jun-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Hey Rob, I think Iain will be building a gantry, but a drawbridge or a lift bridge would be cool! I think there are a lot of mechanical things to consider in order to make it work properly and smoothly.. If you want to borrow some track, I'll bring (...) (...) (using loud voice-over from movie) NOOO...OOO!!!!!!!! not another one. If this keeps up, robot 14 will be just me and Bruce, and what fun will it be to play robot games, me with a GREAT robot, and Bruce with.... well, you saw what happened on (...)   Re: Show and tell Friday

(...) I think it's all in good fun. I doubt at all train/robots will ever be two separate groups, there's too many folks who like both. Even I will make an attempt at a monkey robot even if I've intended to stop doing robots overall :) I'm sure (...) (23 years ago, 12-Jun-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Show and tell Friday

(...) Sounds cool, bring the track to Mels. How much would one need for a drawbridge?? The correct scale would be exactly 37.1592 studs, right? Rob (23 years ago, 12-Jun-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Show and tell Friday

  Re: Show and tell Friday

Hi Rob, I will bring enough track to fit on a module 12 pieces (2 lines of 6) how much you use is up to you, as long as you let us (or whoever will build the module) know the dimensions so the bridge and module will fit together. Jeff "Rob Stehlik" (...) (23 years ago, 13-Jun-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) Jeff, that's really sweet of you to help out Rob... (...) ...and Rob, that is really awesome that you are going to be bringing something to Train2.
