(...) Aaah, the Amiga. I actually kinda like that portrayal...sure beats square opaque glasses :) Speaking of square and opaque, I broke a 16x1 red beam tonight while trying to build set of vertical gear racks for my ropeclimber. AAAAARGH. Back to (...) (20 years ago, 25-Jun-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

          Times —Vineet Honkan
Chris or anyone out there- Do you know how long your RTL Toronto Lego event is tomorrow? (20 years ago, 25-Jun-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

           Re: Times —Larry Pieniazek
(...) What does this have to do with assembly of IKEA furniture? Try reading this web page (the same one you were pointed to last time you asked a question about the event that you could have answered yourself if you did some research, IIRC) (URL) I (...)          Re: THe storekeep even sorta looks like Calum... —Calum Tsang
(...) So I finally watched Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle, and simply put, it's the funniest movie I've seen all year. Disturbingly, there's a Toyota Camry with a spoiler through out the film and commentary about radio presets in the car. A (...) (20 years ago, 12-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) DUDE, I'm not sure how you managed to mess with the pic on that URL, but the playbill ~ I ~ saw looked like this: (URL) is a very clever strategy IMHO, and I applaud Chris for thinking of it." K.C. (20 years ago, 13-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: THe storekeep even sorta looks like Calum... —Kevin L. Clague
(...) Aaaahhhh yes, the Amiga. What a great machine for its day. Calum did you ever get software off the Fish disks? I did a fractal program called Mandelvroom and gave away the source to the cause. Here is a site with pictures created with (...) (20 years ago, 26-Jun-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: THe storekeep even sorta looks like Calum... —Calum Tsang
(...) Come to think of it, I probably did try that once. Those screens look awfully familiar! The issue was speed: I initially only had an A2000HD with a "modified" CPU (a MC68010L10). This was the Amiga equivalent of putting a coffee can muffler on (...) (20 years ago, 26-Jun-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: THe storekeep even sorta looks like Calum... —Calum Tsang
(...) I think she's about to collapse from the interlace flicker of those FRUITS on the low resolution monitor there. Yeah, while the Amiga was always in a dire lack of marketing materials, those wacky types at Commodore Germany always came up with (...) (20 years ago, 27-Jun-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: THe storekeep even sorta looks like Calum... —Kevin L. Clague
(...) This is because the 68010 had no floating point hardware. That is why I wrote Mandelvroom to use fixed point arithmetic. Instead of bits having values like 1, 2, 4, 8..... I made them have values like 1, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16...... Written in (...) (20 years ago, 27-Jun-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
