  Re: paper folding

I did a quick search and Staples already has such a machine: (URL) is the expensive one, my paper catalogue claims to have one for $89. kind of pointless to tie up $300 worth of lego to do the job of a purpose built machine. Chris formerly known as (...) (22 years ago, 28-Mar-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Hi. My Name's Dave...

(...) I've washed a few lots of garage sale lego in my Mom's washing machine. Just dump the pieces in a pillow case and tie off the end. Use a little light detergent if the pieces are really dirty and use the gentle cycle. For the initial drying I (...) (22 years ago, 28-Mar-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Hi. My Name's Dave...

(...) The specifics-- I look thru any non-new sets and lots that I purchased, looking for electric parts, and other things that might not do so well with water. THen I take the entire kit-'n-kaboodle and throw 'em in the sink, with a little dish (...) (22 years ago, 28-Mar-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: paper folding

(...) I built a small paper folder once, it only handled pieces of paper about the size of a business card. But, the idea could probably be modified to handle something larger. I modelled it on a machine we had in the print shop way back when I was (...) (22 years ago, 28-Mar-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: paper folding

(...) I've tried numerous times to do various paperfolding projects, it's one of those "holy grail" things (like knitting, SLT RapidPrototyping) that I've always wanted to do out of LEGO but it is so difficult to achieve the results I want. I wanted (...) (22 years ago, 28-Mar-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  paper folding

Today is "Statement Day" That bi-monthly event where I sit and generate paper work to mail to customers. After I've folded my 10th bit of paper into thirds to stuff in an envelope; it occurred to me that this might be a good idea for Lego. Has (...)   Re: Hi. My Name's Dave...

(...) How do you dry the pieces afterword?? Now that I have a functioning sink I could theoretically wash LEGO, should the need arise. Iain (Who's building now has SANS SERIFFED MIXED CASE FONT GIANT LETTERING ON IT!!!!!) (22 years ago, 28-Mar-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Hi. My Name's Dave...

(...) Funny thing is I have loads of top rails (in white and blue) and non of the other bits, but as I'm primarily a technic builder I just use them as beams. :-) Steve (22 years ago, 28-Mar-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  7119 Cloud Car

Hey guys, Check out the 7119 Cloud Car set. The sale ends today at TRU, they're $7.47 each. It's a cute little set and has some nice new slope elements in it. It's funny, I don't like Star Wars, but I have so many of the sets--only because they're (...) (22 years ago, 28-Mar-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Hi. My Name's Dave...

And I'm an e-bayholic... Well, no. Not really... But I did win 7 lots on e-bay recently. The largest being a big box o' LEGO! So I get this box a weekish back, and it just sorta sat there whilst I worked late hours, played Diablo II and chatted with (...) (22 years ago, 28-Mar-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
