Re: SMASH up DERBY!!! date set

(...) I think it effectively uses 9 data streams, the switch selects which 3 are assigned to the 3 controls (ditto in reverse for the receiver). But I could be wrong.... ROSCO (22 years ago, 10-Feb-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: SMASH up DERBY!!! date set

(...) You can't run a 5599 at the same time as an 8475. They interfere with each other, and only one of them works at a time. I'm not sure how Lego does the different 8475 channels, since they're all on 27 MHz... Maybe they use slightly different (...) (22 years ago, 10-Feb-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) the only problem is that it is also on the 27 MHz frequency and only one channel. you cant play with 2 of them at once. :( -- Chris (22 years ago, 10-Feb-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: SMASH up DERBY!!! date set

(...) No because they're only on one channel. You can't have two 5599/5600's running at the same time. I suppose if everyone has 8475's, someone can enter a 5599/5600, but you're still at a disadvantage: All you have is a car. The 8475 allows for a (...)
