  Re: Philosophical town question.

(...) I've managed to include stairs in larger buildings, but the house presents a challenge. I used to use the "zap" "transporter" theory too. But there's this weird line one must draw in Lego Town. Town is not modelling, it's cartooning in the (...) (24 years ago, 8-Mar-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: thoughts on dragsters

(...) Strictly speaking, I wasn't so much asking as musing out loud. In doing so, I was probably proceeding from a false assumption... (snip) (...) This may be the false assumption. I got it in my head a while back that only input 2 could be used (...) (24 years ago, 8-Mar-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Philosophical town question.

(...) I'm of the impression things need to be furnished, but it's really a question of time and pieces-I have some buildings without furnishings, and others completely furnished. I also have one building missing floors :) But as Ben mentioned, it (...) (24 years ago, 7-Mar-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Philosophical town question.

Very good question! One that a lot of us struggle with, no doubt. In lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, Calum Tsang writess: (...) I take it you are detailing the interior because if you weren't the question would be moot. I would say yes if you can afford (...) (24 years ago, 7-Mar-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Philosophical town question.

(...) Seeing that almost all of the buildings in my Town are just empty shells at the moment I say No, or would that be Yes?, I don't know I guess its whatever floats your boat. The only building I have fully detailed the interior of is my Church (...) (24 years ago, 7-Mar-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Philosophical town question.

(...) Hmmm...I guess it depends on preference...personally I wouldn't put a stair- way in a "little" house because they would take all the space, and the the pink spiral staircase in a few paradisa sets aren't necessarily desirable or all that (...)   Philosophical town question.

Here is a little bit of a philosophical question for you folks into Town. I am building a little house. Said house has two floors. Must there be a connection between the top floor and the bottom floor? Calum (24 years ago, 7-Mar-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) HI: I'm a little confused by what you asked here. all sensors can be used at the "same time" as every other sensor. the RCX can run up to 10 separate tasks. it would not be hard for the brick to have task 1 watch a light sensors on input 1, (...)   Re: Unwanted: Parts and Trading for Friday

(...) Unfortunately the bag got sorted into the great sorting exercise of 2001. :( Namely, someone poured it into a bowl (step 1), over time, it got into a tray (step 2) and I absently mindedly sorted it away... (step 3) Calum (24 years ago, 7-Mar-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Unwanted: Parts and Trading for Friday

Hi folks, I've been doing a little sorting and building, and I have a number of parts I don't particularily want: Classic Wheels (2x2 black brick w/wheels sticking out, red dot hub) Classic Wheels (2x4 black brick, pinned 2x2 red hub) Dragon parts (...)   thoughts on dragsters

Ok. Let me start by admitting that I haven't been to the page listing the proposed events yet, so maybe this is a pointless suggestion but here goes anyway: A few posts ago (I couldn't find it again) someone commented that there wasn't much of an (...)   umm they all look so tasty

I was re viewing the options for the ONE game Calum and I will host. And I have to say, that they all look REALLY good. I'd guess that we could eventually cycle through most of the games. We could do our usual stint, run a game for 2 events, then (...) (24 years ago, 7-Mar-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: rtlToronto8 Events. Vote for them.

(...) Yes. But the general concept I want people to vote for. We can tweak them as we go along. I'm encouraging people to show up this Friday, most of the building types will be there and I suspect rtlToronto8 will be a major topic of discussion. (...)
