Re: Droid Dev Kit $39.99 @ Yonge and Eglington TRU

Just in case they sell out of those in the GTA, the TRU in St. Catharines has at least 15 of them left, and they aren't moving very quickly, so you can drop down there for one if you are looking for one. -- Eric DeGiuli (URL) (24 years ago, 23-Jan-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) Thanks for the news! I ended up picking up one just to play around with it (I had fiddled with Chris' before) and my coworker got one too. By the time we got there (around 5:30PM) there were only three left. Calum (24 years ago, 23-Jan-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Hello Brickheads, I just saw the Droid Developer Kit at the TRU at Yonge and Eglington for $39.99. Only 4 left. Price is pretty good for what you get= about 650 pieces. Dark Side Kit is still 149.99. (24 years ago, 22-Jan-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: ddk

(...) Oooohhh, sounds great! Not owning any pneumatics makes this a tad difficult for me but I love the sounds of it. I went on the same ideas-8 block towers and lots of 'em. I also wanted a stacker that was basically automated, i.e. no computer (...) (24 years ago, 18-Jan-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) 17. (...) My stacker is somewhat unchanged in principle, but I have renovated the drivetrain and tweaked it a bit. There are some frustrating problems inherent with the design, but I don't have the time or energy to try and fix them. What I (...) (24 years ago, 18-Jan-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) well, after the last match i vowed not to wait till the last minute to build a bot. So i built a bot and have had it "almost" ready for the past few months.   ddk

So I have this DDK, and as we all know, THE company, in their infinite wisdom, did not provide a full dome for R2D2. Becoming attached to my little droid, I would appreciate a full top for the 'bot. So any of you who may have bought the ddk for (...) (24 years ago, 17-Jan-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Buffalo, You're Looking Good

Hi folks, Went out to Buffalo with the family today to get out of the house. Lego is nearly the same price in the US as in Canada, ie, a $10 set here is $10USD there! It's like as if everything is 50% more expensive. Didn't really see anything of (...) (24 years ago, 14-Jan-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
