Re: (tentative) new Toronto lego robot contest

(...) Why is that a cheat? I disagree. It's harder to build a machine that tips the board and collects the pieces, then drops them into position. In fact, you'd have to build two devices: A tipper and collator/assembler at the bottom edge, as well (...) (23 years ago, 16-Oct-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: rtlToronto Shirts

(...) Thanks Ben! I'm glad you like them. (...) Yeah, I'm looking over the photos right now and I'm just awestruck how nearly everyone who had a shirt (which was most of the competitors and at least five or six audience) was there. (...) Iain, I posted a huge thing then realized that i never answered your question. Yes you can store the blocks off the board. DAVE: (...) umm, no. I'll post pictures of my idea of a game board later.   Re: (tentative) new Toronto lego robot contest

(...) While talking with co-workers today someone came up with a "cheat" that is NOT in the spirit of the game. With this In mind your robot is NOT allowed to pick up the entire game board and shake all the blocks into a magazine then re-sort them (...) (23 years ago, 15-Oct-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  rtlToronto Shirts

I think $13 or $15 is a great price for the shirt..... Calum they look fantastic.... What was REALLY cool was that (rough estimated survey) 90% of the room on Saturday for the event had the shirts on (that was before 1400 / 2:00 PM) Around that time (...) (...) K, first I'm very happy that the event went off well. Next, so disappointed that I wasn't there! This new competition sounds great. I vote that Iain wins right now ;) I'm going to start building right away. See you Friday Dave (23 years ago, 15-Oct-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
