(...) BTW, you can change the "on" sound. If you replace the !startup.rso file with another .rso, you'll get the new sound. And, on this page, there's a program that will convert a .wav file to a .rso file... (URL) all you need is a recording of the (...) (18 years ago, 28-Feb-07, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Got it last night, didn't do much to it besides rip open the box and put some battries in it to hear the 'on' sound (miss the old 'beep beep' of the RCX, but that's neither here nor there...) (...) Worse. It was a clone Apple II Plus called a "Unitron" with an "NPH" and a "Shamrock" Disk II clone floppy drive.
