(...) sure, its nice and all.. but ummmm where are the robots? Chris (18 years ago, 8-Jan-07, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: My first train7 project

(...) Thanks! I knew all those 8x8 meshes were good for something when I took apart my TIE/Int. (...) It's nothing special, it's just the current rtlToronto group train project. rtlToronto started doing train layouts a few years ago as an "event" at (...)   Re: My first train7 project

Very nice, Calum! :) A simple subway stop, but the details are fabulous. I particularly like the wire mesh maintenance area/electrical room. Gives it a very realistic feel. And I have to agree with Mr. Neal -- LEDs are definitely the way to go down (...) (18 years ago, 7-Jan-07, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, FTX)

  Re: My first train7 project

(...) Looks awesome, Calum! I really love looking "underground" on train layouts, and this area will be a kid favorite for sure! And it's a good thing that you decided to go against using LEGO lights-- they are practically worthless as illuminators. (...) (...) <snip> (...) See--this is why you rank in the top of my fav. builders list. When you build, it's usually spectacular! Nicely done! Dave K (18 years ago, 7-Jan-07, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: My first train7 project

This is really nice! I particularly like the caged section on the end. The lighting works very well (it's as lego as the ones at miniland ; ) and the overall scene is also well composed. Great work! God Bless, Nathan (URL) (18 years ago, 7-Jan-07, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, FTX)

  My first train7 project

This is my first rtlToronto/train7 project (about two shows too late), an underground train station. Since the new layout has a +20 brick ground level, we have an underground layer (well, JeffVW and I do) which we can build stuff underneath. I think (...) (...) Agreed - I just caught sight of these myself on the Technic stuff. New motors, but old (well, old-as-in-2x2-electrical-cable) battery box. Looks very interesting... Dang, where's my wallet... (18 years ago, 6-Jan-07, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Just so you know what you are missing, its an assembly line, like Iains ducks, but the product isnt a duck, its a car, and the assembly line is a "bit" longer.
