I wasn't smart enough to come up with a simple non-powered ring mechanism that latches on to the middle bolt and mucks things up for big strong bots, so (...) (...) Well, there's a balance here. If we say, you have to use a motor, it rules out a number of interesting little "shrapnel-bots" which use a strategy that is simply to obstruct. What a FANTASTIC day I've had a LOT of great time at all of past rtl Games. but this one was "fun" i cant say i have ever seen such carnage. it was GREAT!!! if i had to do it all over again, i wouldn't change a thing. (...) Or how about: 1. No part of your robot may touch the floor at the BEGINING of the contest. 2. At least one powered motor must be used.
