Re: My first fully functioning GBC...

(...) Well, I also know of a place where we can find a somewhat smaller playfield that is already painted and (mostly) perfectly flat. ;) I'd rather have the big one, though. Fron what I saw, it was a little more than the edges, but I'll make a (...) (20 years ago, 17-Feb-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) If the damage is isolated to the edges of the plywood, then consider cutting it down. I think a somewhat smaller playfield is better then a warped and ruff one. Derek (20 years ago, 17-Feb-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: My first fully functioning GBC...

(...) If the weather is clear, I'm going to open it up on my driveway this weekend and examine it. The issue is it will still be below 0 so painting outside is out of the question. Painting inside will incur fumes and such in the abode, but I'll see (...) (20 years ago, 17-Feb-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) The tube is wider than the balls so the balls are sitting in a zig-zag fashion all the way up--one ball that is high enough to fall out won't 'cause it's resting against the opposite wall. Then it gets pushed up and the second ball that's (...) (20 years ago, 17-Feb-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) I have to be there--I have the arena at my place. Speaking of which, the arena is in *very* bad shape--plywood doesn't like water and all that. (...) Oh, man, I'm so far behind on mine. I'm trying really hard but I just haven't been able to get the juices flowing. I'm still going to put a push on to get it done. I'll be there no matter what I end up with. Derek (20 years ago, 16-Feb-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
