Re: What a trip I had to Markville!

(...) Hey Keith! A friend of mind told me he got the box with the minifigs head. So there is hope, but I think I will save my money for other sets. My new house is finished, thanks for asking. I worked so hard in the last months, I did not get any (...) (20 years ago, 30-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.loc.ca, FTX)

(...) Hey Yanick! That's what I got! Two boxes of 3534! Not as great as those others that people in the States get, though. And by the way, how's your new house coming? And when will you re-open your Bricklink store? I like buying from you. ;) Keith (20 years ago, 30-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.loc.ca, FTX)

(...) I just went to my Toysrus in Brossard, Qc. I got one copy of 4679 and here is a picture of what was inside the bonus box. (URL) There was 5 bags, and they almost all contain the same parts in multiple of 3. The tub was stamped with 3534 and (...) Eh, the pumpkin carving was secondary to me... (URL) workplace competition--carve a pumpkin 3 categories--best VP lookalike, best work theme, and best overall. I was just at Wall mart at sherway Gardens there is a new 2000 piece tub there for 24.95 (ish) Pictures are here. Sorry for the Big pics but I am in a hurry, going to ptbo for the weekend. (...) I like the tripod idea better then the torch lamp. Lighter, easier to assemble, and less likely to spontaneously burst into flames. Derek (20 years ago, 29-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) Actually, yes, it's pretty similar. The nice ones have the rollup mechanism in the base. Those are above $1K each (a killing!) I'm not even asking for that much, I just want a pole with two sticks at each end. If someone can hacksaw a tripod (...) (20 years ago, 29-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

A Very Special rtlToronto Project: Group Banner

Hey folks, Earlier this year I did a number of trade shows across the country. While I humped large pieces of foldable presentation fixtures from airport to hotel, minivan to show car, I noticed all the cool kids (damned marketing people!) were (...) (...) I agree with Rob. You’re either stacking blocks or you’re not. Pushing blocks is definitely lame. That said, it doesn’t really matter to me because at 8x8x8, I have no interest. (20 years ago, 29-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

What a trip I had to Markville!

You guys won't believe what I got from a trip to Markville Mall today! Couple weeks ago I picked up a Mars rover for $30 at the Walmart there, with a couple dozens around.
