  April Dinner

So the 9th is Good Friday, so that's a holiday for many individuals... Are we still doing dinner on that day? A week later we'll be at the show--is the 9th enuf 'lead time' to finalize things? Or shall we get together for dinner on the 2nd? I have (...) (21 years ago, 25-Mar-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Modifying 9v Wyes

Must be my week to do crazy stuff with my LEGO collection... (URL) which I took a Dremel to two of my train switches. I was inspired by a picture I saw about a week ago from another LEGO train show (can't track down the post--I'm too tired) and it's (...)   Oh, really...

Ok, so I need to thank you, again. This time, thanks for giving me a purpose. I took "Full Contact" (my C$ robot) to San Francisco to compete in the Robolympics (not affiliated with or endorsed by the United States Olympic Committee or the (...)   Re: Switch box, shelves, EMDSD40ace, Oh My!

(...) That was a type-o :) I realized after I posted. I think I mentioned earlier that I really like your 8 wide rendition, though I will never make the jump to that scale ;) I'll stick with my 6 wide SD70ace Dave K -still doesn't know why the (...)   Re: Built-in Train car separator

(...) Thanks Derek! I plan (and this is contingent on getting more straight track) to get a few of these separators on two lengths of track, and programming via NQC to LDCC and having an loco be able to swap cars at will. That's the big picture. (...) (21 years ago, 23-Mar-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Built-in Train car separator

Hello all, At work today I was inspired and thought out a nifty little addition that shouldn't have taken much time to actually build. So when I got home, I started...   Re: Making train switch control unit modularized

(...) The bottom of the #5 angle connector goes over the outer bracket on the switch. As like many other motorized switches, the pulleys rotate, moving the #4 axle back and forth, which moves the #5 angle connector back and forth, which moves the (...)   Re: Making train switch control unit modularized

(...) Dave - the switch is a neat construction, but I couldn't figure out how the motor activates the switch. Could you explain? There is a more compact way of using the polarity switches though.   Re: 10029 Lunar Lander Errors

(...) Derek, I had a similar experience with the Street n' Mud Racer. We, the hobbiests, have a pretty automated process for creating building instruction imagery. I'm suprised that LEGO's is not as automated as ours. I find that very interesting. (...) (21 years ago, 22-Mar-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  The OTHER rtl-Toronto

Well, I mistyped rtlToronto.org the other day and put in rtl-toronto.org. In the words of Biz Markie, "Oh, snap! Guess what I saw?"   10029 Lunar Lander Errors
