Re: I got a new toy... made by Kodak

(...) I'm glad to have a part in that buildings history then. I like it. (...) I for one would be very happy to have a meeting this week, subject to my COOL wife also, and as long as it's Mon-Thurs.   Re: I got a new toy... made by Kodak

(...) Actually, you gave me the idea when you asked me if I build many buildings and I took it as a challenge, what you see is the result. Although I would hate to move into a building without furniture, I guess that is the next part of that (...) (23 years ago, 6-May-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.org.ca.parlugment)

Re: I got a new toy... made by Kodak

(...) Nice MOC's Jude. Being a Townie myself, I really like the apartment building. I haven't played with a digital camera yet myself, but try using more back-lighting to get rid of any shadows. Hope to see more. And in person too. <hint hint> When (...) (23 years ago, 5-May-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.org.ca.parlugment)

Re: I got a new toy... made by Kodak

Very Nice stuff! I like your Explorien ship, seems very simple and cool. I especially like the 'landing skids' for it, nice detail with the trans neon green plates I think. And it's nice to see the Ice Planet colours being used. I personally like (...) (23 years ago, 5-May-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.org.ca.parlugment)

  Re: score (Ontario Lego Society)

(...) I for one think an Ontario/Quebec wide get-together would be awesome. I think Ottawa would be a wonderful place to host it too. <grin> Seriously though, I do wish I could get to the rtlToronto/train1 event. I probably won't make it (I'd have (...) (...) Don't give up! the Blockminding game is a lot more free form than Stacking, Sumo or Marbles. There's lots of latitude to build cool stuff! Calum (23 years ago, 4-May-01, to lugnet.loc.ca.on.ott, lugnet.org.ca.parlugment, lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: score

Well, it's LEGO, so it's worth it, right? But I know the feeling you mean, thinking "what have I done?" afterwards. I wish I could get you to buy me some more from the LEGO outlet, but I better slow down for now. I've been told our bank account is (...)   Re: score (Ontario Lego Society)

The lot that you won looks well worth it! But, what I don’t understand is why people go out and buy such new sets only to sell them within a year? (I saw that there was an R2 D2 in your lot, therefore I'm assuming that the seller only recently (...)   Re: score

Ya, I got outta hand on that one. I was hoping that the seller would say "No...don't ship to Canada". But he replied that it was fine. So like you said I had better enjoy the box.   Re: score

Whoa! That is quite the expensive purchase. I hope you get some good stuff in there. I couldn't justify it to myself, but that's just because I would be looking to spend that much on a single 4558 Metroliner train. <grin> By the way, I noticed that (...)   Re: ParLUGment 2nd Meeting

First of all, I would like to thank Tim for showing off all his loot. All I could do was smile at all the sets and MOCs. I think young Joshua is more than ready to start playing with Tim's toys.
