Digital cameras - some MUCH cheaper overseas, even with shipping

I've wanted a Casio QV-2800 since they were first announced, due to their 8x OPTICAL zoom and CFII capabilities. They STILL aren't available in the US except from Casio at $700, and CA tax added $58 to that! After shipping, the total was going to be (...) (24 years ago, 8-Dec-00, to lugnet.off-topic.geek)

Read the last couple paragraphs of the article: (warning, mature subject material) (URL) between geeks ... happen. And when it does happen, it's a beautiful thing.   Vision Command as webcamera?

Hi! Has anyone any info on how to use the Mindstorms Vision Command as an ordinary webcam? I have no experience in this field of computers. During installation (on my Win2k despite the fact this cannot be done) I found that the camera uses Logitech (...) (24 years ago, 4-Dec-00, to lugnet.off-topic.geek)

Re: FS: 6950 (MIB) and 6951 (MISB) !

(...) Just a little friendly comment on this (FUT: lugnet.off-topic.geek), the only thing you really can use to distinguish who sent an e-mail first is to use the order in which you received them. It is trivial to alter the time sent (since it is (...) (24 years ago, 2-Dec-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade, lugnet.off-topic.geek)

Re: broadband finally comes to my part of Knoxville

(...) The way I did it was definitely less hassle. $179 at Staples - plug it in and 10 seconds to "configure" it.
