I've wanted a Casio QV-2800 since they were first announced, due to their
8x OPTICAL zoom and CFII capabilities.
They STILL aren't available in the US except from Casio at $700, and CA tax
added $58 to that! After shipping, the total was going to be $768.
So I went digging. I found it in France, and even with shipping, I'll be
getting it for $628! It's duty-free according to US Customs site, so I'm
making out like a bandit.
Once I throw the 1G IBM Microdrive I just ordered in it, I should be able
to take 1000+ pics without having to dump to my Libretto. I'll only be
limited by how many pounds of NiMH batteries I can carry ;-)
So don't ONLY look for good Lego deals overseas ;-)
