Are we having DNS problems today? About half the URLs I go to look at are not resolving. (24 years ago, 1-Dec-00, to lugnet.off-topic.geek)

Just as a follow up: I noticed that in Lar's traceroutes, the suck on cais.net happened after a Mae-East router. So, in the spirit of enlightened experimentation.... Hmmm, I'm using OE 5.02 for Mac, and my post shows up as a new thread. Maybe the PC version puts it into the old thread if it has the same name? Took it long enough, but as of day before yesterday I actually have ADSL. Getting pretty good speeds, probably because I'm a little more than a stone's throw from the phone company's remote DSLAM.
