10GB of MP3 on a FAT32 disk, Win2k, an Intel PII 266 @ 333 (4x 83MHz) is NOT a good combination, I just found out. The filesystem crashed and I now have about 4000 FILExxxx.CHK files instead of a nice directory-tree with sorted and labeled MP3's... (...) (24 years ago, 6-Nov-00, to lugnet.off-topic.geek)

does anyone know of a way to split a text file into multiple files based on the number of lines? ie: 5000 lines split in to five files of 1000 lines each. i've been trying to figure out a way to do it with perl, but no luck so far. but any way to (...) At first, it seems good of IE to try and render incorrect HTML as best as possible -- but then add in the fact that Microsoft's content generation tools *make* bad HTML that Netscape often can't (...) (...) Hmm, yup, that got to be it. Missed that second <frameset> before. I tested it on my netscpae and the way it is now it wasn't working, I added the </frameset> and it worked fine. Doh! Looks to me like you are running a non-frames compatable browser (or have them turned off...) Only suggestion is for you to upgrade...
