(...) Tush, tush, we really need to put this awful thread behind us, it really bums me out. You are scraping the bottom of the barrel. Maggie C. (yes, embarrassed to be the one who couldn't resist) (23 years ago, 26-Mar-02, to lugnet.off-topic.fun, lugnet.off-topic.pun)

(...) And more importantly, just how would you list the pieces on BrickBay after checking? I mean, would they be new, used, or what? 'Cause it's a sure bet that you wouldn't want to keep them after checking, right? Matt (...and is that an assembled (...) (23 years ago, 26-Mar-02, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Re: Spider-Man in San Diego

(...) And how on Earth could a "buttload" of Jedi Starfighters be more than *one*? I mean, I haven't checked, but I'd be willing to bank that one would be about the limit. And no, I don't want to know. LFB (your turn, Richard.) (23 years ago, 26-Mar-02, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Re: Spider-Man in San Diego

  Re: Reduced Service

(...) Oops, I just noticed the newsgroup this post is in (dang web interface).....never mind :) At least if I receive an order on April 2nd I'll know what my wife got me for my birthday, which is on April 27th. jt (23 years ago, 25-Mar-02, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Re: Reduced Service

(...) I'm guessing that they meant to say March 27th orders, not April 27th, since Easter is March 31. So I take it to read that orders after March 27th will be processed starting April 2nd. Does that sound right to anyone else? jt (...) (23 years ago, 25-Mar-02, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Re: Reduced Service

(...) So orders places after April 27th will begin shipping after April 2nd. Then coupled with shipping time it could take over a year to receive a S@H order.   Reduced Service

I got this from a pop-up on lego.com "Due to a reduced service from our carriers all orders placed after 27th April will not be shipped during the Easter Holidays." So it looks like orders posted after April 27 will *not* be mailed back in time. ;-/ (...) (23 years ago, 25-Mar-02, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Re: Ep II Review on Ain't it Cool News (warning! it contains spoilers!)

(...) Actually, this review has been there for quite some time; a couple of days. Furthermore, many think Lucas leaked this trailer to get EPII some hype. So chances of a lawsuit are slim, I think. (...) excitement over the release of this film. That review had "fanboy" written all over it. SW has never been even 1/10th as good as it's source materials.   Someone mention cats?

(URL) a good discussion of this at Slashdot, which seems to boil down to "Of course it won't work - the cat'll learn to drop the mouse (or whatever), smile for the camera, pick it back up, and swagger in". Also mentioned was the need for some cats (...) (23 years ago, 24-Mar-02, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Ep II Review on Ain't it Cool News (warning! it contains spoilers!)

Hi, I spotted this VERY bad boy earlier today: (URL) It purports to be a clandestine review written by someone who got to see a copy of the film early at the behest of Lucasfilm. Warning, it contains spoilers. Spoilers. Spoilers. I mean, assuming (...) (23 years ago, 24-Mar-02, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.off-topic.fun)
