What defines "completeness" within a theme?
Despite rating the theme a meagre 5/10, I am theoretically
"complete" in Space Port. However......
Not that I'm rating Space Port, but it seems rather unfulfilling to admit that
one is complete in a theme that one does not find to be his favorite. (Isn't
that a Confuscian proverb or something? :)

There is a value pack set, number 6469, in which can be
found sets 6458, 6465, and set 6452. Sets 6458 and 6452 I
already had, 6465 and the value pack 6469 are available in
the US only. I had purchased 6469, in order to get another
little launch pad and satellite, as well as 6465.
So the quandy (I know it is sad to brag about being Space
Port complete...)....
Does one, by purchasing 6469, be complete, by virtue of
having 6469 and 6465 contained within, become "complete," or,
as the boxes contained within 6469 being un-numbered, (though
the instructions are), find oneself possesing only 6469, and
need to purchase 6465 seperately in order to qualify?????????

IMO, to be "complete", you need to have a complete set, with all pieces and
all instructions for each and every set number that is made, even if set
numbers vary, regardless of the intended country/region of issue.

Having said that, again IMHO, having the box is not necessary, nor the bags,
nor the included catalog(s), and I would still consider someone just complete
if they did not have sets of the same design with different set numbers.

But then, I'm not complete in anything as it's not important to me :) If I
ever am theme complete, then I'm "incidentally theme complete" because I
purchased the all sets because I liked/was given them, not because I wanted to
be theme-complete.

I would term your collection Space Port "essential" meaning you could make
every object found in the Space Port theme from parts only in the Space Port
sets you have.

How's that?
