    I need help with a school project! Who owns a lawnmower? —Jeremiah VanderMark
    Hello all, My Industrial Design group is doing a project on lawnmowers, and I need to survey a few people about theirs. The main problem is that there's no grass in Detroit.      Hey Jeremiah! I live just north of Detroit and have PLENTY of grass to mow! I have a Craftsman mower. I got it because it's a name I trust, and had the features I needed: mulcher, self-propelled, etc. My only complaint is that it is designed for a (...)       (...) It's a Tecumseh 3.5hp non-drive lawnmower with a bag. I chose it because it was the least expensive model with a bag. (...) It would mow the lawn all by itself. (...)      Note that I don't equate "mowing" with "fun" but we don't have an off-topic.drudgework group. Thank goodness. (...) More expensive ones generally start more easily because they have better motors. (...) More expensive walk behinds come with electric (...)      (...) Craftsman 15.5HP Tractor/ 6speed/42" cut. I choose the Craftsman tractor because I own a Craftsman push mower and it's always worked a like a charm, never with any problems. Of course I'm sure it's more due to the fact that the Briggs & (...) (24 years ago, 13-Nov-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

   (...) Sears Craftsman 3-in-1, Briggs & Stratton engine, 6 horsepower (I think) Brand confidence, both Sears and B&S, and 3-in-1 capability. (...)
