Right. They killed 18 and 19. Sigh. (...) (26 years ago, 16-Feb-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Re: A Pyrate's Life

(...) Poor ceiling fan. I've seen a few situations where two objects had an altercation, and the one you would expect to be more fragile won. In one situation, a friend was organizing her kitchen, and a can of vegetables fell out of an overhead (...) (26 years ago, 16-Feb-00, to lugnet.pirates, lugnet.off-topic.fun)

(...) Oops. :-, Yet another excellent reason to not pay for my tours at the Smithsonian Air & Space museum. Cheers, - jsproat (26 years ago, 16-Feb-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Re: Lunar Rover (foldable)

(...) Who is Neil? I think the Rover was an extra cost option that was only available on later model years... IIRC only 17,18, and 19 had it. (15 and 16 had a little cart that you pulled???) Mr Armstrong only went on 11. (26 years ago, 16-Feb-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Re: Lunar Rover (foldable)

(...) Neil, do you mean to tell me that we came over 238,000 miles, and you forgot to bring the *film*?!? Great! After I eat this ravioli, I'm gonna tell Mission Control just what I think of you! ...erm, Neil, where's the can opener? ;-) Cheers, - (...) (26 years ago, 15-Feb-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

(...) [begin computer voice]Working...[end computer voice] Great challenge, Steve. I wish you had asked (or I had seen the quesion) earlier; my son was at the Huntsville Space & Rocket Center last week and could have checked there. I thought it was (...)   Re: Lunar Rover (foldable)

Does anyone have a pointer to a website with details of *how* the Lunar Rover folded (and was stowed in the LM)? I did some preliminary searching, and found some great Apollo information (that I intend to go back to and reread in depth), but only (...) (26 years ago, 15-Feb-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Re: Lose the Plastic Thingies (tm)

(...) It wasn't the loss of fingers that was so troubling, it was the loss of the groin region! Very very bad. 8-0 (26 years ago, 15-Feb-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Re: [MOC][CW] The Red Fox's Den

(...) Redd Foxx? That's not what I remember him looking like, and his den had a lot more junk in it. Your next character ought to be the wizard's son and apprentice, Demond Wilson. :) --Mike (Follow-ups to lugnet.off-topic.fun) (26 years ago, 14-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Re: Fun new Elements and more disk space!

I could always use more disk space, but I wonder just how fun ununnilium, unununium, and ununbium would be. I mean sure, their geek value is unmatched, but plutonium is still a bigger bang at physicists' parties... Cheers, - jsproat (26 years ago, 14-Feb-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun, lugnet.off-topic.pun)

Re: Dave's first auction Space, Technic, Baseplates

  Re: Survey...

(...) When I read Shiri's statement about having too much LEGO it reminded me of a song. Who's with me here? "It's impossible, to fit a Cadillac up your nose, it's just impossible...." -John (26 years ago, 14-Feb-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Re: Survey...

(...) Ah yes, both of them. Or has membership in your cult risen lately? (...) No one who plays with their Lego has too much of it. Larry certainly qualifies. :) James (URL) (26 years ago, 14-Feb-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)
