What color IS wrong, anyways?  Or bad, for that matter?  ;)

"India Red", Or so I'm told, is being pulled from Crayola boxes

Not precisely.  It is being renamed. (can't recall what, off-hand)

And there wouldn't be such a fuss over "India Red" - but the crayons are
called "Indian Red", which makes all the difference over here.  To most

Europeans, Indians are from India - here in North America, Indians are native
to the environment, and like most racial groups, there is a small and vocal
subset of them that cries out against injustice, actual or otherwise.

The interesting thing is, that the "indian red" color is based on the color of
a naturally occuring pigment found in India.   So it would seem logical to me
that they could just drop the "n" in "indian" and call it "India Red".

But that would be to sensible.  I think I read that the new name will be "brick
red"  - which may well offend us Lego people if the color does not match what
we consider to be brick red.

So, who is up for being offended?  <g>
