You can also swear on the Constitution.  It wouldn't suprise me if there are
other recognized religious and non-religious documents you can swear on.

   Or...your life, your mother's grave, The Bat of the Great DiMaggio,
   etc etc.

   But I wouldn't suggest one swear at anyone holding a weapon.
