A lot of that stuff is still hotly debated, Larry. Those are not precisely
facts; and it's not as if Buckley doesn't wear his political leanings pinned
to his chest. ::cough:: right-wing::cough:: A lot of it was straw man stuff
-- easy targets because we all know the argument is false on its face. A
racist war? No, but at home some racism has appeared against Arabs in the U.S.
BTW:
1. Oil prices have gone up -- how precisely does the oil industry fail to
profit from that? I am reminded of the false scarcity of the 70s.
2. Iraqi oil may soon be in the hands of American based companies, or at
least be administrated by the same companies. How does control, not so much
an issue of supply and demand, figure into the equation?
He who controls the spice controls the universe? Or no?
You gotta use that thousand yard stare through the years, Larry. Or do you
suffer of myopia?
