Glad to hear it, because I read your post 3 times trying to make sense of it
and giving you the benefit of the doubt:-)
Basically, Clinton was in the same situation Bush is in now-- facing Saddam's
non-compliance with UN resolutions. Clinton attacked, and the Left was silent.
What is so different now? (and Clinton didn't even have the 9-11 perspective).
One thing I did agree with you was the silly notion of the attack being some
sort of life imitates art "Wag the Dog" scenario. The timing was interesting,
though:-)
