Every AFOL is NOT an anorak.
Being an anorak is considered a mildly derogatory term - in the UK at least. Though usually used in an amusing, harmless
way.
Anoraks are usually obsessive about their hobby, often to the exclusion of other activities.
They don't have much of a social life, go out much or have friends, apart from other anoraks with whom the only basis of
friendship revolves around their hobby.
Anorals generally need to get a life.
Whilst I like my Lego, and likely qualify as an AFOL, I do NOT consider myself an Anorak.

That one is so obviously true it doesn't merit comment. :-) (23 years ago, 23-Dec-01, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)
