Been down it before. Most libertarians are opposed to Capital
Punishment. Too irreversible. Now, granted, even if you're sentenced to
life, you could still die before your time due to some random prisoner
or guard, but at least the odds of fixing a mistake are better. Besides,
I'd rather see the guilty working their butts off to give their victims
restitution instead of fried. (I know, in prisons as they are today, it
costs money to incarcerate. Doesn't have to be that way...)

Yes. And yet, while I am against capital punishment, I pack heat at home
and am prepared to use it against intruders. I trust myself and others
more than I do the state.
