  Re: Clones and Tente Battleships

(...) I'm talking about the Kenner one alright. My best friend had one, much to my eternal envy. It's not compatible, but you do "build"... LFB. (25 years ago, 22-May-99, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

  Re: Clones and Tente Battleships

Wow, I have three or four Droid Factories by Kenner - is that the droid factory you mean or are you talking about a Lego clone? -- Have fun!   Re: Rokenbok Systems: Integration into a TLG World?

(...) I'd say Rockenbok is reasonable to discuss here since it is a building system with components which will interlock with Lego. (...) One thing I've noticed from looking at it at Zany Brainy: The road "plates" don't have tubes on the bottom, it (...) (25 years ago, 19-May-99, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

  Re: Clones and Tente Battleships

(...) I loved Tente--it was the only good way to build believeable ships for me, until about three years ago when I had my design "breakthrough" that made the size of Lego hulls effectively limitless, if angular (but not pixellated). I had two (...) (25 years ago, 19-May-99, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

Rokenbok Systems: Integration into a TLG World?

Hey all, This isn't really a "clone brand," but since it has elements designed for compatibility, and because I'm looking at buying it specifically for use in building a port for my Lego ships, I'm going to post my query here. OK, I've been hitting (...) (25 years ago, 19-May-99, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

  Re: Playmobil?

Patrick Sayre-Little wrote in message <3733C07D.17EED869@p...ly.edu>... (...) Hi, I have seen and bought Playmobil on eBay. I don't know if its the best place to sell Playmobil, but its a good place.   Playmobil?

Sacrilege, I know; and not even a building-block. This seemed like the best place to ask: Does anyone know of a good place (online) to sell Playmobil? [hoping the "off-topic" covers me] (25 years ago, 8-May-99, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

  Re: just for fun

(...) You'll have to hunt around a bit, but I think so. Try TRU (if you need to look under the signs which hide the top shelf), try K-Marts. I'm not sure where all I've seen this set, but I've seen it within the last month or so. (25 years ago, 6-May-99, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

  Re: just for fun

(...) Thats a cool idea, Frank! Is this slot car set still in stores? I have been away from this group for a few days (reading RTL is too time consuming these days!). Hey, Larry--Detroiter, World Traveler: (...) That's actually one heck of a Target. (...) A bit heretical, but one could get one of those Mega Bloks slot car sets (and paint the track tan so it blends in with the desert theme - its not Lego so its ok to deface it by painting...)... (25 years ago, 4-May-99, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.trains, lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

Re: Exin Castles (Re: Clone Auctions and something cool)

(...) The set that I have, I got as a Christmas present in 1981 from a hobby shop where I'd been eyeing them. It's the Gran Alcazar VII set and I think at the time was around $40. Completely coincidentally, it's on sale right now on eBay with a (...) (25 years ago, 3-May-99, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

OT: FS: Exin Castillos for sale on eBay

Hi all, It's a little off topic, but I'm selling a set of Exin Castillos (made in Barcellona Spain) on eBay right now.   Re: TOG'L?

We had TOG'L when I was a kid. It was fun to play with, but I can't imagine doing any serious building with it.
