Re: New Mega Bloks Reviews in Brief

(...) AAIIIEEE!!! INFIDEL!!! (...) Well, maybe I'll let it slide. ;^) In all honesty, I'd like to see Lego make some mecha. Using the Throwbots ball-joint parts, it wouldn't be hard for them to make some pretty cool mecha. ~Mark (24 years ago, 17-Aug-00, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands, lugnet.build)

New Mega Bloks Reviews in Brief

Hey Y'all: There are some WAY cool new Mega Bloks sets out right now. Fail to buy them at your own risk -- they are better by far than Lego's own Throwbots or Znap lines, are about even with some other system sets, and are even better than some (...)   Disabled kitten helped by contruction toy

Found in a Chinese newspaper: (URL) says the kitten was born without the hip bone and cannot walk. An animal doctor in Pennsylvania made a wheel chair for the kitten so it can walk with only two legs. At first it looks like Znap to me, but it should (...) (...) cool, thanks, richard! it's a tyco 5282 i recently scored. _definitely_, these are the best of the clone brands. the (6) red 2x1x3 gothic windows are sweeet! i keep the tyco sorted seperately from lego, but i don't mind using certain special (...)   MegaBlox Snoopy and Woodstock

At FAO Schwartz I saw a Megablocks "Snoopy and Woodstock" set - it reminded me of the Liberty Statue set the LEGO is coming out with soon. Anyway, it had somewhat over 800 elements, and cost $32. At FAO Schwartz! I can only HOPE that LEGO's offering (...) (24 years ago, 4-Aug-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

My mom found set #450 for me! FOTD?

To All, Well, several moons ago, I asked my mom, who happens to frequently visit garage sales, to look for LEGO products. Unfortunately, she could never find them until last week, when she gave me a set, #450 box. Unfortunately, most of the parts (...)   Re: Byggis Super Mario Sets

The link (URL) not work. I'd really like to see this commercial. I have bought a Byggis Super Mario set some years ago. It was a very good value set.   Re: New Mega Bloks set at E-toys

(...) I didn't buy the Skate Park, but I got two smaller sets for $10 each. They're quite cool and, as usual, have a larger number of 2x4 bricks than any similarly priced System set. The designs of the Xtreme sets are cool, if a little simple, and (...) (24 years ago, 21-Jul-00, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)
