I got a chance to see these up close and personal at Toy Fair in February and they are on a different scale as well as not compatible with other Mega Bloks/LEGO bricks. They are very cool looking and come with a magnifying glass to work on the “fine details” of your model. They patented this new brick and it looks very promising to me.

Hi Thomas and Bill-- Thanks for the clarification, even if I’m not sure how I feel about the scale! I just noticed that Amazon shows these sets with a release date of July 11.
