Ever since I found out about Mega Blocks making miniature bricks I've been excited to see some pictures. A few days ago I read another article (which I have lost the cite to since) that described a 700 piece model that would fit into the palm of (...) (...) Holey moley, that sounds cool! I haven't heard a peep aside from what I've read here, but I'll keep looking. Any ideas on what kind of themes or models might be in the works? Dave! (21 years ago, 4-Mar-04, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

WOW! I haven't heard anything about this until I read your post. I searched on the Mega Blocks website and couldn't find anything interesting. Where did you hear about this? Erik! (21 years ago, 9-Mar-04, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

Here is the excerpt: While Danish-based Lego announced last month a new line of big blocks, after saying it would declare a loss in 2003, Mega Bloks will introduce this (...) Ask, and ye shall receive (eventually): Pretty nifty, from what I've (URL) I observe with interest that MEGABLOKS appears finally to have embraced the the 2x3 slope brick 33 as well as the 2x3 brick. Just wanted to let everyone know, I ran into my local Meijers today and found the Nano line by Mega Bloks. I picked up a 5.99 set the 5901 red convertable. I like the set a lot. (...) OK, now that I've had some time with the little things, I can give an idea of how they work. First, the height/width ratio is slightly different from that of normal Lego or Mega Bloks - two plates (or one brick) tall equals one brick's width, (...) (...) There are advantages to both arrangements, but most of them fall to the original design. A 1:1:1 ratio means it's really easy to get stuff to line up, but it cuts down on a lot of the versatility found in the 5:5:6 ratio used by The LEGO (...)
