(URL) to Christopher Dean for the heads-up) (URL) own this one--it's quite cool. A few items of note-- 1120 parts Lots of 6 x 8 plates (a first for MB, I believe) Quite a few 1 x 2 tiles (in silver-grey and clear) (also a first) 6x 2 x 2 brick (...) Jeeezzzzz..... (I know this has been voiced many, many times but...) If only Lego would produce sets with this piece count/price/size/playability value, they would sell a gazillion of them. Ron (22 years ago, 30-Sep-02, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

(...) Why worry about it? Just buy the MB and they can continue to improve their product with the increased revenues. I am not really that keen on any manufacturer's "model team" type models, but MB DOES make some wonderfully unique elements. And at (...) (22 years ago, 1-Oct-02, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

(...) Their 2x2 brick seems less common in ProBuilder models than in earlier MB series. The old dinosaur sets were lousy with them; I have the sense that the designers sometimes chose two 2x2 bricks rather than one 2x4 brick for the sole purpose of (...) For now, here's an abridged piece breakdown. 2 black 1x2 tiles 2 clear 1x2 tiles 6 (...) (22 years ago, 1-Oct-02, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

(...) Hmmm, I like the marbling... I guess I should have realized I had hundreds of 2x2 bricks in Dino and Galaxy colors, it's just that many of the newer sets use numerous 1x2 bricks instead of ANY 2x2 bricks. I never thought of it as element (...) (22 years ago, 1-Oct-02, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)
