Lastly, this appears to be a new items, but no picture:

I believe I've spotted this one as well, and alas I'm somewhat
disappointed.  I've swung from pro- to con- to pro- Dragons, but this one
really doesn't seem worth the $50 pricetag.  The set comes in an embossed
tin and seems to feature several exclusive figures, but they all look alike
to me.  No other apparent distinctions about the set, I'm afraid.

Is that the same embossed box as with the Dragon's Challenge set:

Similar, but I think the Dragon Tower case seems a little larger.  I'm not
sure, though; I only had a brief time to examine it.  I haven't yet seen the
Challenge set anywhere but in your review.
I'm not sure I even like the tin containers.  I almost certainly won't use
them for storage, and they just seem like an extraneous bit of expensive
packaging.  I'd prefer it if they marketed a mundane cardboard box version
along with the "collector's case," perhaps with a difference of a couple of
bucks in price. They could even include special or additional figs in the
steel version.

Maybe good cardboard costs more than aluminun. (22 years ago, 7-Nov-02, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)
