  Some Target finds

I was hoping to find one of those "Everything Dave can carry for one dollar" sales, but the management said they'd never heard of it. However, I did find some good deals (all names and prices approximate): Dragon's Warrior's fortress $18.84 (...) (22 years ago, 3-Jan-03, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

Great resource for finding newspaper stories

(URL) (1) The "internet public library" purports to collect links to online versions of many many newspapers. I checked it out and found several, although I can't guarantee every link they said is there actually is. Thanks to "Seraphim" of Megatokyo (...)   Re: What's the big deal about the Mini TIE?

(...) Hehe, I remember seeing that. I thought "Wow, what a lame set!" But still, business is business. Kind of sneaky, yet funny. ~Evan Butzlaff (22 years ago, 1-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.general, lugnet.off-topic.debate)

  Re: MB 2-Go sets #s 9114, 9115

(...) I wonder if these are sets for 2003. If so, I'm encouraged to see that the Warriors: Future Force lives on, in the hope that this tiny mech foreshadows additional releases still to come. You're right about the leg design, alas. (...) I love (...) (22 years ago, 31-Dec-02, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

  MB 2-Go sets #s 9114, 9115

See them here: (URL) sets are only "okay" as a build experience, and the "Dune" mecha kinda sucks actually (the leg design is quite useless) -- BUT... ...these sets are amazing for parts packs!!!   Re: Mega Bloks New Alien Agency

(...) You know, the dumb part of this post is that I had totally overlooked Erik's siting of these sets: (URL) pennance, I drove this morning to my nearest Wal-Mart some 10 miles from my workplace, but all for naught! The search continues... Dave! (22 years ago, 31-Dec-02, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

Re: Mega Bloks New Alien Agency

(...) Looks pretty damn fine to me. The new elements include some large one piece wall sections - I don't like 'em in Lego, and I don't like 'em here.   Bilofix

Anyone know where Bilofix came from? Bilofix is very like Airfix Engineer*, an Erector like system with holed beams, nuts and bolts, wheels, and brick connectors. I have been told it's 1950s, even that Lego made it. Sounds like Billund. But then (...) (22 years ago, 30-Dec-02, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)
