See:

(which may have changed by the time you go look... sorry!)

This seller has set the opening bid to 200, and ALSO set the buy it now to
200 as well.

As a buyer, why WOULDN'T I just Buy it Now? There's no incentive to bid.

(I found this scanning for 6543 because I wanted to see if I had any
competition for my Sail N Fly... I don't)

Another weirdness is that my other SnF that went buy it now still showed up
in the search, and showed as having a few minutes left to go (which is
correct, the auction was originally set to complete about nowish) even
though it's been Bought (and paid for, shipped, etc...)

eBay is buggy. Even stuff that they hype doesn't (apparently) have much
testing...

(...) It would be a good way to just put something up for sale on eBay. eBay reaches a wider audience than, say, a garage sale or classified ad. eric (24 years ago, 22-Nov-00, to lugnet.market.theory)
