hello As far as i know it is not illegal to send travelers checks, also a lot les risk of loss, due to being insured, you shoulfd check with american express, exchange costs should be problem of seller, not of buyer, as he probably gave you a dollar (...) If UPS (or whoever) asks (...) They really don't need a search warrant. I worked for a major worldwide express company and we (and the other services) could inspect any package without any kind of search warrant if we deemed it necessary (and (...) (...) Susan, I am sure you are correct about sending cash domestically being legal. When the new "golden" dollars were first released to Wal-mart this spring they were mailed to each store directly!
