  Re: BlueLight.com sale

(...) handful of parts in that set that irk me (the helicopter skids and the 2x5x1 walls). And I picked up Anakin's pod racer, it looks like a few interesting parts. George (24 years ago, 8-Jan-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

(...) November??? Bwahahahahahahahahhahahah! I'm going at the end of the week, it'll all be gone when I leave! No, seriously... Our last Disney vacation was about 5 days long. I talked my wife into letting me go into the store every day of our stay. (...) (19 years ago, 21-Feb-06, to lugnet.loc.us.fl.orl, lugnet.market.shopping)

Crap. I just now saw your message, and they are no longer listed :-/ I wouldn't mind one for parts, but certainly not an anything BUT the clearance price, as I'd probably trade half of it away (though I wouldn't know WHICH parts I'd keep until I had (...) (...) I was there last weekend and their bulk brick selection is about normal. The only thing speical is that they were in the process of opening up several differrent service parts bags to sell off the pieces the same way they do the bulk bricks. I (...)   Re: Old sets being sold in new guise?

Yeah, I have one too. The parts are great, but I was never a big fan of the vehicles, or the green in the Octan color scheme. It's a model that begs for modifications, while I like the older gas stations as is. Although that canopy with the slanted (...) (24 years ago, 21-May-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Question about open sets at Toys R Us

(...) Well, LEGO does have that customer service number thing, and I'm a big 'ol clearance hawk. If the set you buy is missing fewer than 20% of the parts (any more than a few and stores usually send 'em back) then call and they will REPLACE parts (...) (...) Yep, 9265 is basically 5 copies of 633, the parts breakdown for 633 is on Brickshelf as the "instructions" for the set. The tidbit of 5 copies of 633 came from me, when I got a 9265, I also had received some 633 recently, and when I opened one (...) (25 years ago, 17-Apr-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)
